(Walhalla, SC)————————————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency recently made an arrest of a man with ties to Oconee County in a joint investigation.
According to warrants, 48 year old Heraclio Perez was indicted on July 23rd in U.S. District Court in Atlanta on charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, with the said conspiracy involving at least 5 kilograms of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine, which is a Schedule II controlled substance. According to investigators, Perez was arrested on July 25th in Anderson County and was transported to Atlanta the same day.
According to the Warrant Information Sheet, Perez has two listed addresses in the Upstate, 307 Pitchford Street in Walhalla, SC and 100 Bradberry Road in Townville, SC.
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency is continuing their investigation.
