(Walhalla, SC)———————————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has begun phase three of “Operation Infinity” which continues the war on drugs in Oconee County.

The Sheriff’s Office began the operation this morning at 8am with a briefing at the Law Enforcement Center. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted today by officers from the Salem, Seneca, Walhalla, and Westminster Police Departments.

“Operation Infinity is a reference to the ongoing commitment of the Sheriff’s Office to combat the drug problem in Oconee County,” according to Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw. “We will continue to fight this problem through our enforcement and education efforts to protect all of our citizens and those who visit our county.”

In all, 22 individuals were being sought today on a variety of drug distribution charges that stretched from methamphetamine to marijuana to crack to prescription drugs.

As of 2pm, 10 of the 22 being sought had been arrested. Here is the list of those who have been arrested so far. Three of the individuals were already in jail at the Oconee County Detention Center on unrelated charges:
